Levi Perry

Levi Perry joined Fender right out of high school in 2012, quickly rising to the Custom Shop as a Relic artisan and tune tester by 2015. His talent and dedication earned him a promotion to Masterbuilder Apprentice in 2018, where he worked closely with each Masterbuilder, contributing to iconic projects like the Game of Thrones series, the Limited Edition George Harrison Rocky Strat, and more.

Todd Krause

Todd Krause has crafted custom instruments for some of the world’s greatest artists, including Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and David Gilmour. Beginning his guitar-building journey at Jackson/Charvel in 1981, Krause joined Fender in 1991 and became a Custom Shop Master Builder in 1997. His work is renowned for its distinctive blend of form and function, driven by his belief that an instrument should not only sound and feel exceptional but also inspire you to play.

DENNIS GALUSZKA

Dennis Galuszka's 1999 audition with a Fender Master Builder led to his role as an apprentice at the Fender Custom Shop, where he quickly rose to Master Builder within eight months. Since then, Galuszka has crafted exceptional instruments for icons like Paul McCartney, Johnny Marr, and Sting, known for his innovative designs, including double-neck guitars and artist models.

Paul Waller

Paul Waller joned Fender in 2003, apprenticed for seven years - including two years with master arch-top craftsman Bob Benedetto - before becoming a Master Builder in 2010. His notable work includes crafting bass guitars for U2’s Adam Clayton, Telecasters for Keith Richards and Bono, and the Nile Rodgers “Hitmaker” Stratocaster, among other custom creations for legendary artists.

Jason Smith

Jason Smith, son of Fender R&D legend Dan Smith, joined the Fender Custom Shop in 1995. Smith completed a five-year apprenticeship under Senior Master Builder John English, contributing to projects like double-neck Stratocasters for Stone Temple Pilots' Dean DeLeo. Since becoming a Master Builder, Smith has crafted exceptional instruments for artists like John 5, Flea, Geddy Lee, and Steve Harris, among many others.

Greg Fessler

Greg Fessler joined the Fender Custom Shop in 1990, rising through the ranks to become the sole builder of the Robben Ford signature line and Ford’s personal builder. As a Master Builder, Fessler has crafted one-of-a-kind Stratocasters and Telecasters for renowned artists like Joe Bonamassa, John Mayer, and Neil Schon.
