Pava Mandolins

Pava Knezevic, originally from Croatia, began her career as a carpenter before moving to the U.S. in 1995. After gaining experience in furniture making, she transitioned to luthiery at Collings Guitars and later joined Tom Ellis at Precision Pearl Inc., where she helped revive the Ellis Mandolin brand. In 2012, Pava began crafting her own mandolins, applying the same expert techniques that made Ellis Mandolins renowned.

Meet The Models

F5

Pava's F5 models sound as good as they look. Featuring adirondack spruce tops and red maple backs and sides, Pava's instruments generally have a very round and sweet tone. Available in two trim levels and price points, all models include a Bill James tailpiece and a thin varnish or lacquer finish.

A5

Pava's distinctive A5 model are built from top quality tone woods featuring an Adirondack Red Spruce top and Red Maple back and sides. Available in 3 different trim versions, with a variety of binding and finish options.

A4

Pava's Oval Hole A4 model are built from top quality tone woods featuring an Adirondack Red Spruce top and Red Maple back and sides. Oval hole mandolins have a slightly warmer more woody tone to them, which some players prefer for classical or traditional music. Available in 3 different trim versions, with a variety of binding and finish options.
