The Pickup LesLee is one of the coolest pieces of analog technology we've encountered in some time. The LesLee utilizes your bridge and neck pickups to generate a distinct percussive tremo-vibe sound simply by auto-alternating the pickup signals.

How It Works

Every unit installs without altering the state of the hardware of your guitar, preserving the option to revert it back to 100% original - in case you would want to sell your guitar or use the LesLee unit in another guitar. All components are of highest quality and mount into the existing holes and cavities and preserve - if not improve - the original sound of your guitar. All needed functions are added to the existing controls as you know them.

If you have basic soldering skills you'll be able to follow the installation manual and install LesLee yourself. If not, please find a guitar service point or a skilled friend, who can do the installation for you.

A LesLee For Every Guitar

Telecaster

Comes with a fully equipped control plate to be mounted in one piece. Offering the easiest installation of all LesLee versions.

With two variants available: Version one sacrifices* master tone for ON/OFF and speed, and version two comes with a third knob for master tone. Master volume is also a push-pull and switches between mono and stereo modes and auto-stutter ON/OFF in mono mode.

*a tone control pot is simulated to preserve the original sound (R+C in series to ground).

Telecaster Deluxe

Utilizing the double volume controls and preserving their functionality also for LesLee, allowing to blend the two separate volumes even when LesLee is ON.

The neck tone control becomes a push/pull for ON/OFF and speed, and the former bridge tone control becomes the new master tone control with push-pull that switches between mono and stereo modes and auto-stutter ON/OFF in mono mode.

Stratocaster

Installs very nicely into the existing control cavity of the most popular guitar on the planet.

Preserving full functionality by turning the neck tone control into a master tone, and the mid pickup tone control becomes a push/pull for ON/OFF and speed.

Master tone is also a push-pull and switches between mono and stereo modes and auto-stutter ON/OFF in mono mode.

Les Paul & SG

A real luxury version of LesLee.

Utilizing the double volume controls and preserving their functionality also for LesLee, allowing to blend the two separate volumes even when LesLee is ON.

The neck tone control becomes a push/pull for ON/OFF and speed, and the former bridge tone control becomes the new master tone control with push-pull that switches between mono and stereo modes and auto-stutter ON/OFF in mono mode.

Jazzmaster

The unit replaces the rhythm circuit and uses its controls for ON/OFF, speed and intensity. Furthermore the master tone becomes a push-pull for mono/stereo switching and auto-stutter in mono mode.

Jazzmasters have a spacious control cavity and the installation is easily accomplished.

Jaguar

A little more challenging with its 4 separate control cavities. What were they thinking back then in Fullerton? ;) But they made it possible, and with a little extra effort, there's no problem installing LesLee into a Jaguar.
