The Music Emporium was founded in 1968 and has been in our Lexington, Massachusetts showroom near Boston since 1994. Basses are a newer and growing part of the shop, and the selection is expanding steadily. It ranges from vintage Fender Precision and Jazz Basses and vintage Gibson models like the EB series, through current-production Fenders including the Vintera and American Professional lines, out to boutique builders such as LEH and Novo.
The same people who have been sourcing and authenticating boutique and vintage instruments here for decades vet every vintage bass before it is listed. Selection turns over constantly, so what is here this month is rarely what was here last month, and we are always interested in hearing what you are looking for, whether it is on the page or not.
