This 2016 Collings D1A Traditional has just come into the shop on trade! It's from very early in the Traditional series evolution, and features the bigger, fuller neck profile seen on the earliest T-series guitars -- and it's also housed in a Collings-made vintage-style hardshell case with the earliest-seen indigo-colored lining. The sound is thunderous, with a seemingly three-dimensional reverb built into it. Anyone on the hunt for a D1A Traditional should snap this one up while it's still here!
This guitar remains in excellent overall condition. Upon close examination, you'll notice a few whisker-sized marks on the pickguard (though the guitar is now seven years old, and it's been played). Aside from that, there's not much to report. The surfaces shine like new, the frets need no work, and the setup remains spot-on. The Collings-made case is in similarly excellent condition. A slam dunk for Collings D1A fans!
