This 1931 Martin 0-18T was brought to us by a gentleman who'd inherited the contents of a relative's music shop. There were plenty of odds and ends in the collection, which looked like they'd been in an attic for 50 years; and there was also this 0-18T. It's weathered the years remarkably well, and still retains an excellent setup. As with most early 30's Martins, it's incredibly lightly built, with terrific responsiveness, and a big, open sound that's unique amongst tenor guitars.
When we received the guitar, one segment of its rosewood binding was missing. Luthier Dan Armstrong installed a new section of binding (near the end wedge), and did some routine setup work. It's structurally sound, and plays easily, with plenty of height left on the original bar frets. Price includes vintage chipboard case.
