Description
A golden lion-hued mandola with a roaring voice to match! From the hands of master luthier Michael Heiden, this is a throaty, powerful, varnish-finished mandola with a seductive tone, and great dynamic and expressive range. Michael procured the long-aged, Sitka spruce top from a violin maker, mating it to a gorgeous, one-piece, red maple back. True to Heiden form, this instrument plays rather incredibly–it is easy to forget you are playing a mandola and not a mandolin. It sold through the shop a few years back, and are happy to host it again.
Priced with Ameritage case.
