This Froggy Bottom H-14 is a very attractive candidate if you've been thinking about placing an order for one of their guitars based on the news of Mr. Millard's retirement. This guitar features some incredibly attractive Brazilian Rosewood, a gorgeous heelcap scrimshaw, and Glenn Carson-engraved MOP logo on the headstock. With these upgrades (some of which are no longer available), a new H-14 would set you back ... well ... you don't want to know how much. Did we mention this thing's tone? This is an amazingly powerful guitar for its size, with incredible low end and seemingly bottomless depth of tone. It carries the trademark Froggy sparkle and richness in spades; and its wonderful, complex tone, makes playing it a ceaseless pleasure.
Condition: we'd call it very good "plus." The guitar has been played, and does show some signs of use in the form of light pick marks on the top (near the treble edge of the pickguard, and mostly visible because of the sunburst finish). Otherwise, the surfaces and frets are very clean. The gutiar has been freshly setup in our shop and plays easily up and down the neck. Priced with hardshell case.
