Description
If you're looking for a played-in, gig-ready OM, take a look at this 2007 Collings OM1 with Adirondack spruce top. The Collings OM1A is well-loved for being a no-frills tone producer, capable of tackling anything from bluegrass to Celtic fingerstyle with equal amounts of vigor. The mahogany body and Adirondack spruce top produce a sound that emphasizes clarity and fundamental note definition without a washed-out overtone series. It's an excellent recording and performing guitar, and you can tell the previous owner put in a lot of hours with it. There is notable cosmetic wear (nicks and a little chipping in the finish, as you'll see in the photos). But it's structurally sound, and more importantly, it sounds like a guitar that's opened up and benefitted from years of playing. Priced with hard case.
