Old Growth Spruce pairs beautifully with a classic Collings model.

This Collings OM1 Traditional is upgraded with an "Old Growth" Sitka Spruce top for an ultra-responsive take on an already classic model. The Old-Growth tops currently being used by Collings seem exceptionally lively, and provide a warm round sound for players interested in a velvety version of the hallmark Collings clarity.

Part of Collings' Traditional series, this OM1 features a lighter weight construction and a touch more open voicing compared to its venerable, standard-series counterpart. This guitar is as raw-sounding and open as a new guitar gets ~ an ideal choice for a flatpicker / strummer who prefers to play an OM in the name of increased comfort. Priced with hardshell case.
