The rich, resonant bass and the crisp, clear high end have to be played to be believed. We've got a lot of good dreadnoughts in stock, but the CW is a sure standout.
Why We Love This
If the looks alone didn't give it away, one glance at the specs and you'll be able to guess who Collings had in mind when they designed this powerhouse of a dreadnought.
Named for the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, they've combined a stiff Adirondack spruce top, an enlarged sound hole, and a top bracing pattern based on the earliest 14-fret dreadnoughts for a guitar that's meant for the driving, aggressive bluegrass flatpicker.
The rich, resonant bass and the crisp, clear high end have to be played to be believed. We've got a lot of good dreadnoughts in stock, but the CW is a sure standout.
