We don't see many Circa Guitars (built by luthier, John Slobod) in the shop -- it's been two years since our last OM-28 was here. This is getting to be a bit of a regular TME model (as regular as this admittedly infrequently stocked guitar can be): a 1930-style OM-28, with pyramid bridge, bar frets and no metal in the neck. This is as lightweight a rosewood OM as you'll put your hands on, and it thunders with the rich, fat tone of a vintage guitar. This beauty only lasted a couple days in the shop, but have a look at the photos and let us know if something like this in Mahogany might be up your alley...
- Brazilian Rosewood back & sides
- Adirondack Spruce top
- Ebony fingerboard and pyramid bridge
- Thin nitrocellulose finish
- Hide Glue
- Bar frets
- Waverly Tuenrs
- 1 3/4" nut width
- 25.4" Scale length
- 2 5/16" string spacing
