Opportunities to steward Joe Yanuziello's fine guitars through the shop are never taken for granted, new or used. This used Ivory White example reminds us of how fortunate we've been to work with Joe over the years, and how truly exceptional his guitars are.
Coming in at just over 5lbs (yes, you read that correctly), this is a supremely lightweight instrument that still retains great balance. The custom made Fralin pickups provide all of the nuance we hear acoustically in the instrument, with great detail and distinctive top end sparkle. Airiness and touch-sensitivity reign supreme, allowing the player to take guitar in any direction they desire. It resonates like a great flattop acoustic, with strong fundamental sustain and light harmonic overtones.
With both ivoroid and tortoise trimmings abound, it has a subdued but artful elegance to its aesthetic, and it's easy to see Joe's creative sensibilities combine for a unique and captivating look.
Condition: Very Good+. Light to moderate wear mostly on the body by way of light surface scratches and some small nicks here and there, with the more noticeable ones located on the back of the guitar. Very minimal fretwear, and only in the first few frets. A small minimally invasive binding repair was made adjacent to the neck pocket on the cutaway side - no breaks, but the binding required some regluing to the body.
