Thomas Rodriguez is that rarest of talents operating at an exceptionally high level in two seemingly disparate guitar-building specialties: concert-grade classicals and solid-body electrics. We have carried Tommy's electrics for some time now, marveling at their acoustic resonance, choice tonewoods, creative design, and ability to engaging the player.

This is the second concert classical we have seen from Rodriguez--both instruments possess all of the very same, desirable attributes as his electric builds. This instrument, made in 2012, features a silky Italian spruce top and a beautiful Indian rosewood back and sides. A lattice-braced guitar, it still retains balance and personality more befitting a fan-braced instrument. Overall a very exciting, authoritative modern classical.
