A higher powered version of Tony's fabled Bernie Custom, this highly limited 30 Watt model retains all of the amazing touch sensitivity and dynamics of the lower powered offerings while adding weight and punch unlike any other Tex amp to date.

At its core, it functions almost identically to the Bernie Custom models - simple topography with Volume and Tone controls supported by a Master Volume. Sounds limiting, but fear not; these three controls give the player an incredible amount of control over the amp's response, gain, EQ, and feel. It's no different with this 30 Watt, but the added power just gives you...well...more.

The quartet of EL84s yield an impressive amount of low end and low midrange response that feels massive even through the slightly compact custom-made cabinet. All of the sparkle and definition - an inherent quality of Tex DNA - remains, yet the fundamental power is cranked up a few notches. With the Master Volume pegged and the input volume around 9:00-10:00, you've got that AC-30 chime and "clean with character" tone. But push that input volume up past 12:00 and watch out - fat, articulate Marshall-like overdrive and then some!

With just a handful scheduled for production, we can't recommend this amazing amplifier enough!
