If you're a dreadnought player -- if you absolutely can't go without that boom and punch in the low mids that only a dreadnought provides -- but you've been longing for something a little mellowed out for vocal accompaniment, this could be the ideal guitar. It's not going to have the snap of a D-18 for flatpicking leads, but it'll more than overcompensate with a rumbly warmth perfectly suited to a singer-songwriter looking for extra horsepower.
