Now that's a hoss of a different color! This custom-made 2005 Santa Cruz baritone was built to be tuned to a low G (standard baritones tune to B). It's got a gorgeous, ethereal sound in a frequency range comparable to a cello. While you could likely tune it up to A with lighter strings, we would not recommend doing so, since the top is thinner than a conventional baritone and switching to lighter strings would take away the thick shimmer that makes this guitar so special. If you're thinking of adding a baritone to your arsenal, and you want to get LOW, consider this truly sensational sounding instrument from Santa Cruz. Priced with its original hard case.
