Description
This used Outlier mandolin just in to the shop! Outlier mandolins are hand-built by Massachusetts-based luthier, Ben Pearce. This A style mandolin exudes the attention to detail that comes from a one-man shop, with appointments and tone to match. The soft v neck carve and radiused board make this instrument a joy to play, and the tone is crisp and balanced, with good string definition and a brightness that is punchy without being harsh.
This instrument is handsomely appointed with ebony binding, Waverly tuners and Ben's signature headstock inlay. The custom one-piece tailpiece was designed by Ben to eliminate buzzing, increase sustain and reduce weight while retaining the rigidity of a standard cast tailpiece. This mandolin comes to us with a pre-installed K&K pickup and black strap button. Priced with Pegasus hardshell case
