Here is a wonderful, Northfield F5 Master Model "Big Mon' with special Engelmann spruce and a wide nut, just in. The Big Mon features a slightly enlarged F5 body, which produces a very rich, powerful sound with a noticeably open character. The wider, 1 3/16" wide nut option fits the mandolin's dimensions nicely and offers a little more real estate under the fretting hand, making for a more forgiving playing experience.
