As one of the bright lights of the current generation of top-shelf builders, Andrew Mowry's name comes up often in mandolin circles these days. This F model—serial #100— offers good reason why: it sounds outstanding, with a response at once springy and stout. The blond finish shows off the lovely, one piece maple back quite nicely, and pairs well with the gold hardware for a classic look. A full-shouldered, soft-v profile neck feels very comfortable under the left hand, the low setup facilitating easy playability.
This mandolin comes to us used, in excellent overall condition, save one tiny impression in the top between the pickguard and bridge. Little to no fretwear on the speed neck.
