This 1948 Martin 0-18 has been well maintained (good neck reset, pro refret) and not maligned. The wear on this guitar is the result of decades of hard play time -- for an instrument that's now considered mostly a fingerpicker due to its size, no one's been shy about digging into this one with a flatpick! The top has one crack behind the bridge, which has been glued tight; and it appears the top has been lightly oversprayed, since most of the wear has light finish on top of it.
The sound is exceptionally full for a small guitar, with beautiful, round trebles, and the dryness of voice that's perfectly suited to old-time flatpicking (a previous owner likely concurred). Priced with Ameritage hard case. On consignment.
