We love Burton Legeyt's guitars here at TME. While we only get one new one every year or so, we'd frankly take anything we could get from him: his instruments are consistently gorgeous-sounding, with a lightness of structure and huge response that makes them as rewarding to play as the best vintage guitars. This CL (his smaller body, comparable to a 00) was built to showcase at a festival several years ago; and its original owner has just brought it to us for consignment. It features several of Legeyt's signature touches (beveled cutaway, sound port with removable cover, and Vega-style brass backstrap). And it also features his signature amazing sound and responsiveness. This guitar's tone is a captivating mix of the woody power of an old Martin and the shimmer of something modern. There's nothing it can't do, and it's a true joy to play.
Condition: near mint. We're tempted to say "as new," since it looks like it's only been played a couple times since it was built. The setup remains unchanged from its original spec; and the finish still gleams. Priced with a Visesnut hard case. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
