You may have seen a few of the Collings electrics featuring their new Olive Drab finish back in 2021, and Gibson's version was quick to follow.

This 2021 Gibson ES-335 Olive Drab features not only a new finish offering, but some upgrades in the pickup and hardware department. Built on the classic "Dot neck" platform from 1958-1961, this ES-335 has all the great features that made the semi-hollow one of the most desired electrics of the 20th century. The Calibrated T-type pickups aim for the later 60s post-PAF tone - slightly brighter and punchier, with the exposed Zebra coil giving the guitar a more LP-like styling.

This particular guitar weighs in at a very lean 7lb 10oz, maintaining great balance and little fatigue both standing or seated. There's no doubt the lightweight build contributes to a more open and responsive instrument acoustically, and with the use of lightweight aluminum hardware, the sustain and resonance is well matched to deliver a great semi-hollow electric capable of delivering jazz, blues, rock, and country tones with ease.

Condition: Near Mint. This is an exceptionally clean guitar. Very light handling and little use. The guitar spent most of its early life in the original brown Gibson hardshell case. No fret wear. all hardware and plastics are very clean.

Priced with the original hardshell case.
