A classed-up take on the ES-335 without jumping up to 345/355 aesthetics, these Limited Edition models featured really cool specs that still stand out some 20 years later.

Why We Love This

This 1999 Gibson ES-335 Limited Edition is one of the cooler variations of a USA production Gibson that's come out in the last 20+ years. Offered in just a few colors, this Natural-finished version with the black body binding and unbound Ebony fingerboard with small block inlays gives us a little of that "reverse tuxedo" look often associated with double-bound Telecasters.

This guitar was purchased new by its previous owner, and with the exception of a replaced truss rod cover, it's otherwise remained entirely original. The 60s slim taper neck is super comfortable and nicely broken-in, and the original Classic '57 humbuckers sound great!

Condition is Very Good. This guitar has been played and gigged over the years, but never abused. Light to moderate play wear throughout, with light scuffs, nicks, and dings. Some light buckle rash on the back of the body. Frets have been cleaned up in-house and have plenty of life in them.

The original hardshell case shows some wear commensurate with age, but is still perfectly functional. It is missing the accessory compartment lid.

Pre-Owned Instruments | Have Questions?
We take great care in accepting only the highest quality pre-owned instruments for resale in our shop, then carefully photograph and describe each instrument to ensure what you see on our site is exactly what you'll receive. Many of these instruments carry subtle signs of handling that can escape even the most discerning eye, so if you have questions about the condition of this instrument, we invite you to call us for an in-hand description. We're always happy to help!
