The guitar was once owned by Steve Earle and is documented with some paperwork included with the sale.

1985 Gibson ES-335 Dot Reissue in Antique Natural. Built during the "Tim Shaw Era", it features the great PAF-style humbuckers Tim became known for with these guitars. One could argue that these first-generation Dot Reissues were the catalyst for Gibson putting more focus on classic designs and sounds that were to come out of the Custom Shop some 8 years later.
