We’d be remiss if we didn’t confess our adoration for vintage Epiphones, and this Riviera XII 12-String is no exception. Sporting the original mini-humbuckers, the Riviera offers up all the chime to get your jangle on, with some added body, warm low end, and a touch more authority we hear in a lot of these semi-hollow examples.
While the original pickguard is not included, it would be a shame to cover up the gorgeously figured Royal Tan finish. Period correct and original chrome hardware, with a mix of nylon and steel saddles on the ABR bridge. 1 9/16” nut width with a comfortable medium profile; original frets are in great shape, and playability is smooth and consistent all the way up the neck.
This is a very clean guitar with some light checking and very minor play wear throughout. It’s been well cared for throughout its life with no breaks or repairs.
