This recent Collings MT-O features a particularly striking finish combination: satin Merlot stain over a gorgeous one-piece back, paired with a classy, satin black top!

The MT-O offers an excellent value in the world of oval-hole mandolins, with an expertly voiced, carved Engelmann spruce top and flamed maple back and sides under a slightly stripped-down aesthetic. The wider 1 3/16" nut width offers plenty of real estate for easy playability, and tone is all there: a fat, woody chime that would suit anything from jazz, to Celtic, to old-time. This 2024 build is priced with its original TKL hardshell case from Collings and is playing beautifully after a fresh setup in our shop.

Condition
Light pick marks visible on the top as expected from a satin black finish but no major dings. There is also an area near the sound hole where the finish has glossed up slightly from play.
