This Collings CW (originally named for Clarence White, now associated with the "Winfield" festival in Lawrence, Kansas) is just in on trade! The guitar was originally sold through TME last year and has come back on trade, the original owner having set his heart on something else. If you're in the market for a Collings-built bluegrass guitar -- you're in luck! Not only does this CW bear the classic looks of 58957, the 1935 D-28 linked to Clarence White and Tony Rice, it packs the midrange wallop needed to power through an ensemble and highlight the guitar's role in a traditional bluegrass ensemble.
Condition: as mentioned previously, this guitar was sold through our shop a year ago. It remains in very clean condition; and we're confident many window shoppers would simply think it another new Collings hanging in our showroom. A strap button has been added to the neck heel. Priced with its original hardshell case. Please call us if you'd like an in-hand description!
