TME is happy to offer the 78th Collings archtop guitar; and if you've spent any time on the Collings website drooling over these unobtainable works of art, this guitar might look familiar. The AT-17 represents the pinnacle of Bill Collings' work as a luthier: these instruments were made by Bill alone, and exhibit the most decadent appointment level in the Collings archtop lineup. This particular guitar is perhaps the most high-profile AT-17 ever made. It's fully wood-bound, with a gorgeous, full-body tangerine sunburst finish, and it's outfitted with a Collings-installed floating pickup. The guitar has just been inspected, setup, and buffed by Aaron Huff (Bill's protege) at the Collings factory, and presents like an instrument leaving the shop for the first time. Priced with deluxe Karura fiberglass flight case. A historically-significant and beautiful-sounding instrument that'd be the jewel in any Collings collection.
