Rhode Island based luthier Mark Campellone builds some of the highest quality archtop guitars in the world. We've been fortunate enough to represent his guitars for decades, and it's always a treat to see one of his instruments come through the shop, new or pre-owned.

This gorgeous looking, and sounding, 2008 17" Deluxe model features a rich Dark Cherry Sunburst finish that highlights the carved Spruce top and figured Maple body and neck beautifully. The inlay work and multi-ply binding work throughout tie the whole aesthetic together with great sophistication.

As is the case with all of Mark's builds, the fit, finish, and playability are all top-notch. Acoustically, the guitar has a rich dynamic response, strong fundamental, and a great woody top end. The floating Kent Armstrong pickup delivers classic, warm-yet-articulate tones. Think Jim Hall and you'll be in the ballpark.
