Visionary, violin-inspired design and a singular woody tonal character from luthier Joe Campanella Cleary.
This "Due," Campanella's sought after two-point model, features a European spruce top and a striking, one-piece Sugar maple back from an old board unearthed at Shelburne Farms in Vermont. It is a wonderful-sounding example, and it has been played, so you can count on the sweetest, most open & powerful tone you're likely to encounter in one of Joe's creations.
The mandolin shows normal signs of usage, with a few light marks scattered across its surfaces. It is a fantastic sounding mandolin, one we think would command the attention of any player who hears it.
