We’re thrilled to have a new build in the works from Ron Thorn, and it’s shaping up to be something truly exceptional.

Constructed from korina with a Flying V-style deep tenon neck joint, this guitar leans into classic Gibson DNA while showcasing the level of detail and nuance we’ve come to expect from Ron’s work.

The fingerboard is Madagascar rosewood pulled from none other than Michael Stevens’ personal stash—a tonewood with both pedigree and rarity. Add in a true '50s Gibson scale length, a pair of Ron Ellis pickups, and a finish pulled from Ron’s catalog of esoteric vintage car colors, and you’ve got a recipe for something that’s equal parts vintage soul and modern precision.

We can't wait to get this one in hand - and we suspect you’ll feel the same way once they land.
