Taylor's most affordable family of solid-wood guitars, the American Dream Series offers a choice of warm, woody walnut with spruce, punchy and focused sapele with mahogany, and an all-maple Flametop.

Every model in the American Dream Series is built with Taylor's V-Class bracing, which articulates the guitar's vibration to produce unmatched volume and blooming sustain. On the outside, these guitars feature chamfered edges for a smoother, more accommodating feel.

All models in the American Dream Series are available with ES2 electronics, the proprietary under-saddle pickup and preamp that delivers authentic acoustic tone when you plug in through an amp or PA. Select models are available without electronics.

The American Dream Series is appointed with subtle details that evoke an old-school sensibility, including 4mm dot fretboard inlays, faux tortoiseshell pickguards (except Blacktop models), a thin matte finish for an extra lively response, and a Tobacco Sunburst top finish for models ending in “SB.”

Sporting a striking matte black finish treatment for the spruce top, the AD17 Blacktop is a Grand Pacific dreadnought that blends its traditional footprint with a contemporary visual flair.

Every guitar in the American Dream Series comes with a super-durable AeroCase, a soft-sided case that offers all the protection of a traditional hardshell case at one-third the weight.
