Finely made, early OM from Massachusetts's own Bill Tippin, featuring some beautiful Hawaiian Koa back & sides. Tippin's commitment to the pre-war Martin sound is evident from one strum of this guitar: it's powerful, clear, and woody, with a dry voice that keeps it distanced from most modern interpretations of golden-era flattops. Handsomely, tastefully appointed, this is a versatile guitar for an OM player interested in a guitar that doesn't shy away when a strong flatpicked attack is what's called for.
Condition: for a guitar that dates to the early-mid 1990s, we'd classify this one as "very good." It's been played, and shows minor signs of handling, but there are no significant blemishes. It's just been freshly setup in our shop, and requires no further work at this time. Priced with TKL AVS hard case (tweed covering). On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
