Description
Sometimes you just have to go all out when ordering custom guitars and this Santa Cruz OM has got it all. Before all the bling grabs your attention -- check out that top! We've been knocked out by the 3000-year-old Ancient Sitka tops we've had thus far, and jumped at the chance to secure this one. These tops have the incredible resonance and responsiveness you'd expect, and provide a warm, open fundamental voice for seemingly any tonewood they're paired with. Coupled with old-stock Indian Rosewood, we hear a very rich tone, with plenty of clarity and sparkle and not a hint of mud. Now - that bling! All the top & back purfling, as well as the stunning "Tree of Life" inlay motif, are blue paua, resulting in an even more arresting color palette than we're used to on a similarly appointed guitar. Have a listen to TME's own Lindsay Straw playing it in the video herein, and give us a call if you'd like an in-hand description. Priced with Ameritage hard case.
