This pre-owned Santa Cruz F model has just come into the shop for consignment! The F is Santa Cruz's small jumbo offering, and works well for a multitude of styles. This guitar, featuring all-Koa construction, is a very warm-sounding strummer that's not heavy on overtones. It's a very responsive fingerstyle guitar as well, producing silky, woody tones whether played in an open tuning or capoed high up the fingerboard. Our consigning client purchased this guitar from Richard Hoover while on a tour of the Santa Cruz factory in the early 1990s: it has never been in a retail setting before now! And needless to say, the quality of the Koa used to build this instrument is breathtaking.

Condition: overall, we'd rate it very good "plus." It's a 30 year old guitar that's been played, but it's also been well-maintained and humidified. There are minor signs of playwear on the top finish, but no significant cosmetic blemishes or structural concerns. Our repair staff has inspected it and set it up with light gauge strings, and it plays easily up and down the neck. Priced with the only hardshell case it has ever had. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
