In search of a lightweight electric that has it all - stunning looks, effortless playability, versatile humbucker tones? This beautiful 2008 PRS Hollowbody 1 might just be your guitar. 

The first thing you can't help but notice when taking this gorgeous guitar out of its hardshell case is just how lightweight it is - 5lbs 8oz (fear not, it balances perfectly)!! At 1 3/4" deep at the rim (3" at the bridge), it's deeper than a solid-body PRS, but it fits this body shape perfectly and is very comfortable. 

Our attention naturally turned to the neck carve - a "wide/fat" carve - and we were reminded of a 59-esq LP carve. It's a slightly chunky C, but meant to be comfortable for a wide range of players, and in our opinion, it succeeds easily at this goal. Coupled with excellent fret work and a 1 11/16" nut, it's a very, very easy playing guitar, perfect for chord work or soloing. 

You could sit with this guitar on the couch unplugged and not miss your amp. It's so easy and fun to play, practice (or writing) sessions are a breeze. Plugged in, the PRS humbuckers can cover a wide range of genres with a slightly fattened low-end response thanks to the hollowbody construction. PRS guitars sound a touch more modern to our ears vs Gibson, but that's not a bad thing at all. In fact, there are quite a few times where the added clarity and balance are something we seek out. 

Condition: Excellent. Only very light signs of prior ownership which includes faint fret wear. It's very clean and set-up beautifully.
