This "Slope Shoulder" from the Pre-War Guitar Co. is just into the shop on trade! Lightly built from Mahogany and torrefied Red Spruce, it's an homage to the great short-scale dreadnoughts of the 30's and 40's. It's incredibly loud and open, with a dry, woody voice, and punchy midrange that's penetrating without being cloying at all. The bass is booming and focused all at once, and the trebles are stinging and super-present. Want responsiveness, openness, and caliber of tone you'll only otherwise find in a vintage guitar? Look no further.
Condition: this is a factory relic, with what Pre-War describes as a "Level 2" distressing (all the wear, scrapes, finish scuffs, etc., that you see in the photos was done by the builders when the guitar was made). There is no other significant play wear put in place by the previous owner. There's a very small amount of fret wear visible in the first position, though it's not very significant. Priced with hardshell case. Expedited shipping only at online checkout; interested buyers are welcome to contact us for Ground options and an in-hand description.
