This pre-owned Pre-War is just into the shop on trade! In addition to the fabulous sound these guitars are known for, this particular guitar has a number of interesting features. It's number 6 from the Pre-War Company (written on the underside of the top), which was built alongside a dreadnought for Andrew Marlin (he ultimately chose the dreadnought). The guitar was sold to our client, who happened to be visiting the Pre-War shop at the time -- and has otherwise not been on the market. It's the only style-21 OM they've ever produced; and it has a 1 11/16" nut width alongside a slim taper neck (not the chunkier, 1937-style neck typically used by PWGC). Wes and Ben at PWGC recently gave the guitar a fresh setup, fret dressing, and made a new saddle (the original saddle is in the case pocket). They also glued and repaired a small back crack, which is 100% stable. This is a great sounding guitar; and it's an OM that would work really well for a bluegrass flatpicker. Enviable volume and dryness of tone for a "new" guitar, with great responsiveness whether played fingerstyle or with a pick. Priced with TKL hard case.
