This Northfield "Big Mon" (Big Blonde?) is a lovely-looking, one-off custom mandolin with a Blonde finish, tortoise binding and a one-piece back! The Big Mon features a slightly enlarged F5 body, which produces a very rich, powerful sound. All Big Mon models feature premium grade tonewoods and a varnish finish, and there's a noticeable difference in the openness of sound and projection they carry relative to a standard NF-5.
