This 2007 Martin Ditson 111 is just in for consignment! Built in homage to the first dreadnought style guitars (custom-made examples sold exclusively by the Ditson department stores), this instrument was made in the Martin Custom Shop during the same time period as the early "Authentic" guitars. And while it's not an Authentic, per se, it might as well be -- it's about as lightly constructed as a factory-built guitar has ever been, and its wide open voice is unlike anything else offered in the 12-fret dreadnought landscape. Huge, woody, and well-defined all at once, this guitar is a great choice for anyone in the market for a 12-fret dread; and its pyramid bridge, thin finish, and light build structure make it versatile as a fingerpicker as well.
Condition: we'd rate this guitar in very good overall condition for its age. It's been played, and shows extremely minor signs of handling (a close examination of the back reveals some shirt button scratches in the middle, though these are hard to see even under reflected light). The bridge has been reglued in our shop; and it's been freshly setup with light-gauge strings. Priced with Martin hardshell case. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
