This 1980 Martin D-41 is just in on trade! Want the aged, pearl-trimmed look of classic late-60's Neil Young D-45 but without the price tag of a Brazilian Rosewood guitar? Take notice! This D-41 has a killer vibe, and carries the sound to match (remember this guitar is now 44 years old!). The voice is bold and open, with the classic, woody shimmer of a powerhouse Martin dreadnought.
Condition: as mentioned, this is a 44-year old guitar that's been played. The original finish shows checking all across the soundboard. There's an area of playwear near the treble foot of the bridge that exposes a bit of bare wood; and the top also shows the expected scattered dings and pick marks associated with regular use. The original saddle is low, but the action is where it should be: 3/32" (bass side) and 2/32" (treble side) with minimal neck relief. Price includes the guitar's original Martin thermoplastic case.
