This gorgeous, beautiful sounding Martin Custom Shop 000-12 has just come in for consignment. Designed with vintage aesthetics, feel, and tone in mind, it features a full thickness V-shaped neck, custom Chris Hillman shadetop finish that calls to mind an early 30's Ambertone, and blank headstock veneer with Martin & Co. logo stamped on the back of the peghead. The sound is huge, even considering what one would expect from a 000-12. Playing it lightly produces a cascade of lovely overtones, while digging in with a pick moves an impressive amount of air.
