Premium woods and labor-intensive, hide-glue construction make for a stellar sounding and visually unique, custom Martin OM.
Lush warmth, clarity and overtone balance nicely in this striking, custom Martin OM. These NAMM builds generally tend to be very good sounding guitars, but this one hits us as being particularly nice. Credit the Adirondack top, Amazon rosewood back and sides, Golden-Era bracing, and hide-glue construction, all of which add up to an outstanding, potent OM tonality.
Aesthetically, the pairing of 42-style, Green Paua abalone with quilted bubinga binding works really quite well, set against the lovely Amazon rosewood back and sides. But the visual star is the unique, custom fingerboard inlay. It is intricate without being overly ornate, and completes what is a very enjoyable, memorable custom Martin!
This guitar comes to us in excellent+ condition, save for tiny finish crazing in two spots at the end of the fingerboard extension. Overall, very little indication of prior ownership.
