This used 0000 in Guatemalan Rosewood and Sitka Spruce was part of our last run of stripped-down guitars from the Martin Custom Shop. The sound is simply wonderful, with plenty of richness, detail, and articulation for any style of play (fingerpickers, flatpickers ~ this guitar will work for anyone). The 0000 body size works particularly well for strummers looking for a non-dreadnought companion, but as mentioned ~ the shallower-than-dreadnought body depth makes this a great choice for, well, pretty much anyone looking for a great-sounding guitar. This guitar was well maintained by its previous owner, and shows very few signs of handling. It has been freshly setup in our shop, and plays beautifully.
