Completely lovely sounding Martin 2-17, made in 1926 and just into the shop for consignment. We know this guitar well, and have set it up for its current owner a few times over the last ten years. TJ Thompson reset the neck and dressed the frets approximately five years ago, and the setup doesn't appear to have moved a millimeter since then. The guitar's structure is very clean, crack free, and completely original, making it as collectible a 96-year old guitar as you'll encounter. The tone is warm, warm, warm; and the playability couldn't be nicer. If you're looking for a parlor-sized guitar -- vintage or otherwise -- we can't recommend anything else in the shop with more gusto. Priced with non-original hard case.
