This lovely 1934 Martin 0-17 would make a fantastic housemate for anyone considering wading into 30's Martin territory. It's in what we'd characterize as excellent condition for a vintage guitar: all the original components are intact, but it's had the service necessary to make it eminently playable. The neck has been reset, a new nut & saddle have been installed, and the fingerboard has been refretted. The back of the neck shows light overspray, likely done in conjunction with the refret.

With its full, soft-V neck carve, the guitar plays beautifully up and down the neck no matter what your preferred style. The tone is supremely inviting, with the dry, woody warmth coveted by devotees of old-time music and fingerstyle vocal accompaniment. The super-light 1934 build structure makes this an exceptionally responsive and rewarding guitar to play. Priced with modern Martin hardshell case.
