As the top-of-the-line offering, the Super Glide Almighty is an inherently classy build - but with an incredibly fun, snotty punk rocker attitude lurking under the surface.

Though we see a lot of amazing instruments here at the shop, we're not above letting out audible "ooh's, oh man's, and good lord that's hot!" comments when we open a case, especially this one. I mean, how could you not? It looks amazing in these pics so imagine it in person. In our opinion, Saul Koll is simply the master of combining elegance with sexy, rock n roll appeal, end of story.

The slightly chunky "medium C"carve feels a bit like a cross between a Duo Jet and, say, a Les Paul Special (chunky, but without excessive shoulder).The Wolftone Humbuckers deliver great midrange snarl and bite when you crank the amp and hit it with your favorite overdrive - classic stuff here.

If you're a fan of Gretsch and/or Gibson Guitars - that's, what, pretty much all of us, right? - you'll appreciate where this Super Glide Almighty is coming from.
