This c. 1934 Kalamazoo "Senior" is just into the shop on trade! The Senior was only produced for about a year ~ a high end take on the Kalamazoo KG-11 featuring a bound top & back, firestripe pickguard, and checkered soundhole binding. This guitar just radiates the history of a life well-lived, bearing its original owner's name carved into the top and a hearts-n-arrows inscription on the peghead. It's ladder-braced, and produces a warm, focused sound that makes for beautiful old-time backup and flatpicking.
Condition: very good. This guitar was purchased from the family of its original owner by our client. It was refretted and setup by Jason Burns of Birmingham, AL. The work is excellent. And although we've given it a fresh setup before listing, it didn't need much and is good to go for its next 90 years. Priced with a hardshell case.
