If you're in the market for an exceptional rethink of a Les Paul Jr/Special, or just an exceptional electric guitar period, you really owe it to yourself to check out a Krautster II.
This Krautster II is a great example of why we love Huber guitars - block inlays, full body color, neck binding, double bound...This guitar is extremely light, resonant, quite loud acoustically, and sustains for days - and that's without the aid of amplification!
Plugged in? Punch. Articulation. Power. The splittable Haussel made humbucker combined with the Haussel P90 (Gold Foil cover) neck pickup yield a ton of different tones - classic rock, Tele-esq twang, even fat jazzy neck tones are possible.
This isn't the type of guitar that covers a bunch of ground though none particularly well - this guitar sounds stellar no matter what you're trying to coax from it. In this way it's a very inspiring - and easy - guitar to play.
